What it handles

Two-wheel drive, which caps how steep it can work. That covers rolling ground, but not a bank you would struggle to walk up.

Navigation includes vision or LiDAR, so it keeps working under tree cover where satellite-only machines lose their fix.

Below a quarter acre once the coverage buffer is applied — too small for any of our acreage bands.

Area 1000 sq m (1/4 acre) from the official manual (model MR2508C, technical specifications) and the ECOVACS CES campaign page - the US product page carries no area row at all. Manual verified as the LiDAR PRO variant: its 17% virtual-boundary limit matches the PRO page exactly. Do not use the O1000 RTK figure of 8,600 sq ft; that is a different machine at ~800 sq m. Slope 45% work area, 17% at a virtual boundary.
